Born in 1993 in the United States, Aurélien Nobécourt-Arras lives and works in Paris.

Following their bachelor’s degree at Parsons School of Design in New York in 2015, they began assisting photographers, going on to work with some of the most respected and talented artists in fashion and still life. For nearly a decade, they developed extensive knowledge, experience and skill in the photographic practice.

They have maintained their own practice throughout, specializing in documentary and still life work. They pay particular attention to the mess made of things left behind and the stillness of spaces left empty. Editorial clients include i-D, Vice, l’Officiel Brasil, Vogue Turkey and À PART.

They also hold a master’s degree in Gender Studies from Paris 8 University.
